A Change of Pace
Jo: "How are you liking Southport?"
Katie: "It's definitely a change of pace."
Jo: "From what?"
Katie: "Somewhere where I don't really want to go back to."
Just a Pit Stop
Alex: "It's usually just a pit stop for some people."
Katie: "I like it here."
Alex: "I'm Alex, nice to meet you."
I've Had Things Happen to Me
Jo: "Why won't you let him get to know you?"
Katie: "I've had things happen to me in the past, things that still scare me."
Does It Get Better With Time?
Katie: "Does it get better with time?"
Alex: "Yeah, yeah, at first I tried to avoid any place we went together. I tried to forget. I tried to put it all behind me. I tried to, you know, just look forward but it just didn't work and I realized that if I'm not thinking about her, who is? You know, and she was an amazing woman and I loved her. I want my kids to know that. I want them to know her. So, we're just keeping our heads down. I'm getting to play mom and dad, which is interesting. Just trying to keep it all together, really. But today with you, this is probably the first time I've looked up."
Katie: "It's a perfect day."
