List Rules Vote up the most terrifying residents haunting Hill House.

With every new horror movie and series released on Netflix, the streaming service becomes even more essential for horror fans looking for a shock. While there are plenty of weird horror movies on Netflix, The Haunting of Hill House has something to satisfy any appetite for terror. Gothic atmosphere? Check. Well-developed and traumatically tormented characters? Check. Great direction? Check.

Maybe more than anything else, the 10-episode series is practically overflowing with ghosts. Series director Mike Flanagan confirmed that he hid ghosts throughout the series, with figures and faces lurking in the background to reinforce the unnerving atmosphere even more. Aside from those spectral extras, The Haunting of Hill House has a number of featured ghosts that torment the Crain family across decades. Check out this list and vote up the ghosts that stuck with you long after Netflix asked if you were still watching.

SPOILER ALERT: Some of these ghosts will qualify as spoilers, so read on at your own risk.
