In “Scoobynatural,” Sam and Dean are sucked into the Scooby-Doo, Where Are You! episode “A Night of Fright Is No Delight," but they soon realize the cartoon now has a murderous ghost. It's up to the Supernatural brothers and the Scooby-Doo crew to solve the mystery.
This episode of Supernatural contains plenty of callbacks to the original show, such as a hallway chase where the characters keep entering and exiting doors, newspapers with no words on them, and sandwiches so big, Scooby and Shaggy have to unhinge their jaws to eat them.
Dean tries to woo Daphne away from Fred and fails, and Velma steals a kiss from Sam despite constantly calling him a “big lug.” The episode even has a brief Scrappy-Doo cameo.

In Looney Tunes: Back in Action, Porky Pig and Speedy Gonzales complain about needing to be more politically correct at the table next to Shaggy and Scooby. Also at their table is actor Matthew LIllard, with whom Shaggy argues because he claims Lillard made him sound like "a real space cadet” in 2002's live-action Scooby-Doo.
Shaggy and Scooby threaten Lillard if he doesn't shape up for the then-upcoming sequel, 2004's Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed.
"Ultra Instinct Shaggy" started off as an internet meme dating back to 2017 that gave Shaggy Dragon Ball Z powers. In 2019, Woken News started a petition called “Make Shaggy A DLC In Mortal Kombat 11.”
In 2021, the meme became canon when Ultra Instinct Shaggy showed up in the WB Animation intro to Mortal Kombat Legends: Battle of the Realms and wraps his hand around Scorpion's throat.

On their hitchhiking journey from New Jersey to Hollywood to stop a movie from being made, Jay and Silent Bob get picked up by the Scooby gang in their Mystery Machine.
When the friends start to fight, Jay knows how to mellow everyone out: weed. After they all smoke some “Doobie Snacks," they dance in and around the van while scantily clad. Scooby then says, “Ri, Ray and Rilent Rob.”
Later, while Jay and Silent Bob are passed out, Shaggy suggests they steal their kidneys. Jay then wakes up, proving it was all a nightmare.
