Jeffrey Dahmer is the definition of a serial killer. Known for his 13-year killing spree, Dahmer was a convicted serial killer and sex offender who murdered 17 men in the Milwaukee, WI, area between 1978-1991. Dahmer sought out mostly African-American victims and lured them to his home with promises of money or sex. Upon arrival, Dahmer served his victims alcohol laced with drugs before then strangling them to death. Soon after, he had sex with the corpses before dismembering them, frequently preserving their genitals, heads, and skulls in acetone. Dahmer often took photos of his victims to revisit after and relive the horrific experience. He was eventually killed by a fellow prison inmate in 1994.

Ahmad Suradji was an Indonesian serial killer by night and a cattle breeder and self-proclaimed sorcerer by day. Many people who lived in his town believed in his powers and often sought him out for medical treatment and spiritual guidance.

In 1997, Suradji was arrested when three dead bodies were found near his plantation. He later confessed to strangling 42 women with an electrical cable after burying them waist-deep in the ground. He told police he had a dream that his father’s ghost instructed him to kill 70 women and drink the saliva from their fresh corpses in order to gain paranormal and supernatural powers. While the locals longed for Suradji's medical and spiritual advice, it only fed his thirst for power. In 1988, Suradji was found guilty for the lives he took between 1986-1997 and sentenced to death. He was executed by firing squad on July 10, 2008.

Ted Bundy was notoriously known as a serial killer, rapist, and necrophile who murdered and mutilated dozens of women in several states throughout USA. The exact number of women Bundy killed is unknown to this day.

A luring tactic Bundy sometimes utilized was dressing his arm or leg in a cast and requesting assistance from his potential victim. Once they got close to his vehicle, he would hit them in the head with a heavy object and knock them unconscious. He would then take them to a secluded area, where he assaulted and eventually killed them.

Sometimes, Bundy would abandon a corpse only to return to it days or weeks later and violate it. Bundy also decapitated at least 12 of his victims and stored their heads in his apartment. He looked at them as trophies - he got satisfaction out of seeing his crimes on display. Bundy was ultimately given three death sentences for his crimes and was executed on January 24, 1989.

  • This is about as close as you're going to get to a vampire. Also known as The Otaku Muderer or The Little Girl Murderer, Tsutomu Miyazaki was a Japanese serial killer who murdered and mutilated four little girls, ages 4-7 years, from 1988-1989. While his killing spree was short-lived, it left a horrific impact.

Miyazaki abducted each little girl, took them to a secluded area, and strangled them to death. He then photographed their naked corpses and dismembered their bodies. Miyazaki was also a necrophile, meaning he continued to violate these girls after they died, and he drank blood he drained from his last victim's hands and ate part of them as well.

Miyazaki would sometimes crush his victims' bones into powder and mail their remains, along with their clothes, teeth, pictures, and a postcard, to their families. He was captured in 1989 and sentenced to death for his crimes. He was hanged on June 17, 2008.
