13 Amazing Anime Fights That Were Over In The Blink Of An Eye

Voting Rules

Vote up the best anime fights that ended too quickly.

An anime fight doesn't have to be long for it to be interesting. In fact, some of the best anime fights are over within minutes or even seconds.

Some of best short anime fights are awesome because they show just how strong one character is in comparison to their opponent. Watching Luffy knock out Bellamy with a single punch is incredible because it's one of the first times Luffy gets to flex his strength against a seemingly dangerous opponent. Had he struggled against him for a long time, it wouldn't have had the same impact.

There are also fights that are quick because they are interrupted, leaving viewers to wonder what might have happened if the fight had continued. Chrollo's skirmish with the Zoldyck family shows off everyone's strengths, making it a great fight despite its lack of conclusion.

Are any of these in your top 10 shortest anime fights?

Chrollo Vs. Zeno & Silva Zoldyck - 'Hunter x Hunter'

Zeno and Silva Zoldyck have nothing personal against Chrollo Lucilfer, but as long as he's the target their client wants gone, they're going to do their best to get it done. That's why this fight stops midway through - when they're informed that Chrollo is no longer their target, the Zoldycks bounce. It's an awesome fight before that happens, with Zeno using his Dragon Lance and Silva sending out huge blasts of aura. Despite Chrollo's immense strength and Skill Hunter ability, it's a struggle for him to keep up.

While we don't know who would have won had the fight continued, Zeno says he thinks he'd win under most circumstances - but not if Chrollo comes at him with lethal intentions.

While the Beast Titan is distracted with trying to deal with the onslaught of warriors charging at him, Levi swoops in and lances the Beast Titan with his gear, then proceeds to slice up his arms and body, blind him, and finally cut through his neck and drag Zeke out of it.

Levi's rage and raw skill make him the toughest opponent Zeke has ever faced, and ensure that the fight is practically over before it begins.

Zenitsu Vs. The Spider Demon - 'Demon Slayer'

When Zenitsu is conscious, he's often so overwhelmed by fear that he can barely form sentences, let alone fight. But if he gets knocked out, the battle will quickly turn in his favor.

That's what happens when he gets knocked out during the fight against the Spider Demon. He's able to use his Thunder Breathing technique to swiftly defeat not just the Spider Demon, but also his hordes of subordinates. It's a badass moment, but sadly for Zenitsu, he does get poisoned during the fight, which means his struggles are far from over.

Mob Vs. Koyama - 'Mob Psycho 100'

Mob is usually a pretty chill kid, but if you mess with his brother, that changes completely. After Mob not only gets smacked around by the former Claw member but also sees him hurt his brother, he goes into 100% Animosity mode and wrecks Koyama within seconds.

The fight is proof that Mob's problem has never been about not being strong enough - it's about marshaling his abundant strength to accomplish what he wants without causing unnecessary damage.

Ainz Ooal Gown Vs. Gazef Stronoff - 'Overlord'

Ainz and Gazef have liked and respected each other since their first meeting, which may be why Ainz ended the fight quickly and mercifully. Surprised by Ainz's involvement in war, Gazef went to try and change his mind. Ainz was willing to grant Gazef's request if he'd swear allegiance to him, which Gazef could not do.

Gazef wanted to fight, and what's more, he did not want to be resurrected if he passed away. Ainz granted his wish by using an Instant Kill spell that could not be easily reversed, ending the fight before it began.

Tokoyami Vs. Yaoyorozu - 'My Hero Academia'

Tokoyami Vs. Yaoyorozu - 'My Hero Academia'

This fight is a bit of a downer because it was during the Sports Festival. The fact that it was over so quickly meant that Momo Yaoyorozu didn't get a chance to really show off what she was capable of. She tried to deal with the onslaught from Fumikage Tokoyami's Dark Shadow attacks by creating a shield, but she was edged out of bounds before she could make a weapon or anything else that might be useful.

But Tokoyami wasn't trying to stop Momo from showcasing her ability - instead, he wanted to win without hurting her using his unpredictable ability, so he focused on her shield instead of her body.
