Society is currently in the age of Generation Z. This is the demographic that has come after millennials and represents people born between 1997 and 2012. For this generation, technology has always been at the forefront of everyday lives. Most Gen Zers have had a smartphone for as long as they can remember. However, as with all generations, it would be uncouth to make far-reaching generalizations as every person is unique in his or her own way. After all, not all millennials enjoy avocado toast.

For this list, it's time for people of all demographics to vote for the best TV shows for Gen Z. These are series airing episodes in 2019 that prominently feature Gen Z characters getting into situations any post-millennial would be able to relate to. From Riverdale to 13 Reasons Why, there are plenty of shows that have captured the Gen Z experience in a unique way.
