Can you film a TV show while everyone is in isolation? These are interesting times, especially for the people and companies that make the shows we watch. More people than ever are burning through their watchlists, but creating new content for audiences offers unique challenges when making shows at a distance.
Luckily, and admirably, many networks and creators have figured out how to make new shows not only despite, but thanks to, social distancing. From panel shows and reality series to scripted dramas, isolation isn't stopping anyone from making new TV shows to watch.

How the show is handling isolation: Based on the British series Googlebox, which features families and groups of friends reacting to TV shows, Celebrity Watch Party is already based around staying at home. The American version finds stars from Jojo Siwa to Rob Lowe reacting to news shows and television programs from the comfort of home, giving viewers a glimpse into the lives (and watchlists) of the rich and famous.
How the show is handling isolation: Embracing the already popular play-along format of House Hunters, this new series has comedians watch old episodes via video conference and snark away. Combining the panel show format with a social distancing watch party, HGTV says "Everything on House Hunters is fair game" so you won't be the only one yelling about illogical budgets and commuting distances.

How the show is handling isolation: Directed via Zoom, with the actors filmed by their family members, this ambitious drama from ITV consists of four 15-minute vignettes. Sanitized filming equipment was delivered to the actors' homes, with everything from lighting to makeup experts on hand to assist via teleconfrence.

How the show is handling isolation: This aftershow for The Masked Singer brings viewers into host Nick Cannon's home to discuss the outcome of the latest episode of the competition singing series. Selected specifically by Fox as a show that can be produced remotely, special guests and the eliminated celebrity both appear via video confrence.
