Rated T for TeenLooking for movies and TV shows that are rated T for Teen? These lists feature great movies and TV programs about teens, enjoyed by people of all ages.
High school comedies have always been a fixture on the big screen, from early classics like American Graffiti to more recent hits like Booksmart. Beyond the laughs and memorable characters, though, these movies have a ton of small details that make them even better than you remember. For example, in Superbad, Seth and Evan tell Fogell not to buy sambuca when he's at the liquor store. In an earlier flashback, you can see the three friends drinking sambuca while huddled over a laptop. In Mean Girls, new kid Cady ends up ousting Regina from their friend group. What you may have missed, though, is that Cady completely steals Regina's style, including a necklace with the first letter of her name. There are even details that hide in the background! In Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Ferris manages to get Sloan out of school by wearing a beige trench coat and fedora as a disguise. If you look behind the door in Ferris' bedroom, you can see that very same outfit on a mannequin.
