Saturday Night Live went through some big changes in the 2000s - from the 9/11 attacks to the writers strike that shortened season 33 to some big cast shakeups mid-decade. Even with several hosts returning multiple times there were almost 160 different hosts in the '00s. If you can't remember everybody who got to open the show, then refresh your memory with this list of the people who were hosts from 2000 through 2009, ranked from best SNL '00s hosts to worst SNL '00s hosts.
The 2000s saw over two dozen people return to host SNL, with Alec Baldwin again appearing the most times. Other celebrities, such as Ben Affleck and Dwayne Johnson appeared regularly as well, but none made quite the impression as Justin Timberlake's four appearances did, along with his Digital Shorts participation that made him such a frequent musical guest and host in the 2000s.
Just like the seasons and episodes themselves, the Saturday Night Live hosts of the 2000s range from great to grueling. Vote up the actors, musicians, and comedians who did the best job at hosting SNL in the '00s.
