List Rules Vote up the people who did the best job as hosts of SNL from 1990 through 1999.

The 1990s were a period of transition and change for Saturday Night Live, but they carried through and started the new millennium strong.  Even with over two dozen people hosting multiple times, there were just over 150 different hosts in the '90s. If you can't remember everybody who got to open the show, then refresh your memory with this list of the people who were hosts from 1990 through 1999, ranked from best SNL '90s hosts to worst SNL '90s hosts.

Setting a record for the most times hosting SNL in a decade, actor John Goodman hosted SNL nine times between 1990 and 1999, appearing on the show every year except 1991. Close behind was Alec Baldwin with eight appearances as host - well on his way to being the person who has hosted Saturday Night Live the most times over the years. Many of the "older" cast members returned in the '90s to take on the role of host, including Bill Murray, Norm Macdonald, and Phil Harman.

Just like the seasons and episodes themselves, the Saturday Night Live hosts of the 1990s range from great to grueling. Vote up the actors, musicians, and comedians who did the best job at hosting SNL in the '90s.
