The Best Songs About Sleep

Who doesn't love sleep at the end of a long day? Here's our list of the best songs about sleep, ranked by your votes. Musicians clearly appreciate slumber as there are tons of great songs about sleeping. Many of the top songs about sleep are about catching some Zs, but some of the best sleep songs are also about dreaming. Some of these songs come from the rock genre and others are hip-hop.

Ben Gibbard sure does like sleep. His Postal Service sleep songs, “The District Sleeps Alone Tonight” and “Sleeping In,” both made this list. The Barenaked Ladies on the other hand aren't worried about getting eight hours of sleep a night. They released the tune “Who Needs Sleep” in 1998.

The troubled times we live in keep the members of the Wu-Tang Clan up all night. Isaac Hayes was featured on their hit, “I Can't Go to Sleep.” Another great sleep song is “In Dreams” by Roy Orbison.
