For seven gripping seasons, the story of Jax Teller and the Sons of Anarchy Motorcycle Club made for one of the best shows ever on television. Sons of Anarchy finally wrapped in 2014, but for its devoted fans, the series is an eternal reminder of the power of family, loyalty, and redemption. Part of the show's magic was the near-perfect ensemble of actors that made up the soul of the series. If you're curious about what happened to the Sons of Anarchy cast, they've all moved on to other projects – though whatever they do, it will be hard to beat Sons' masterful storytelling and unforgettable impact.
Diehard fans may not have to wait long to dive back into SAMCRO's world. A prequel, as well as potential spinoffs, have all been discussed by series creator Kurt Sutter. For now, though, you may be wondering what the major players on Sons of Anarchy are up to and what the future might hold for this talented group of once-largely-unknown actors. One thing is certain: the Sons of Anarchy cast then and now will always hold a special place in the hearts of the show's devoted fanbase.
There's a gentleness to Opie Winston that's hard to dislike. But like all the men of Sons, he can be violent when he needs to be – though, in the end, he makes a truly selfless sacrifice out of his loyalty to SAMCRO.
Actor Ryan Hurst portrayed Opie, and he's been busy with more television work since Sons left the airwaves. His credits include principal roles in Outsiders and Bates Motel. Hurst and his wife have their own production company and live in the Los Angeles area.

As Jackson "Jax" Teller, Charlie Hunnam portrays the prodigal son who ends up on a series-long journey of hardscrabble self-discovery and shaky salvation.
The British-born Hunnam was a mostly unfamiliar face to American audiences when he won the role of Jax, but by the series' end, he had become one of the most bankable stars in Hollywood. He had leading roles in big-budget films like Crimson Peak, Pacific Rim, and King Arthur: Legend of the Sword. Hunnam is also a screenwriter; he has sold screenplays on subjects as varied as Vlad the Impaler and Mexican drug cartels.

Filip "Chibs" Telford is, in many ways, the evenhanded and mostly unruffled backbone of Sons of Anarchy. Portrayed by native Glaswegian Tommy Flanagan, Chibs still has no issue being violent and aggressive if the welfare of the club is in jeopardy.
Flanagan has been involved in a number of projects since Sons went off the air. He was Tullk in Guardian of the Galaxy: Vol. 2, and he had a recurring role on the Canadian police procedural Motive. He has a principal role in the television series Redliners, his first since Sons.

Alex "Tig" Trager is the womanizing, sometimes-volatile vice president of SAMCRO, but his dedication to both the club and his chosen family are rarely in doubt.
The Canadian-born Kim Coates, who played Tig, is a celebrated actor with a long list of credits on stage, screen, and television. He's portrayed some legendary characters, including Stanley Kowalski (A Streetcar Named Desire) and the title role in Macbeth, to name just two. In 2017 alone, Coates appeared on Kevin Can Wait, Godless, Bad Blood, and has a leading role on Ghost Wars.
Coates has discussed the positive impact Sons had on his life and career – even though he turned down the role of Tig when it was first offered to him.

Mark Boone Junior had been a character actor for many years before achieving stardom as Robert "Bobby Elvis" Munson on Sons. Though Bobby's end is nothing short of savage, Munson is one of the show's most recognizable faces.
Munson has continued to work in television and movies. He had a role in The Birth of a Nation and played recurring characters on Flaked, The Last Man on Earth, and Patriot.

Former police chief Wayne Unser keeps a close eye on the happenings in Charming, CA, and he becomes a surprising supporter of SAMCRO and what they stand for. Unser's love of his town overrides his concerns about SOA, whom he sees as instilling some sense of law and order in places law enforcement simply could not access.
Unser was portrayed by Scottish-born actor Dayton Callie, who has a roster of movie and television credits to his name, mostly in supporting or guest roles. Since Sons' departure, he has been playing Jeremiah Otto on Fear the Walking Dead. Callie is a Vietnam vet.
