It's not just Tom Kenny - the voice of SpongeBob SquarePants - who brings tons of personality and pizazz to the show. Even the tertiary characters are voiced by rad people, and SpongeBob has been the host to many famous celebrity guest stars. If you're looking to finally answer, once and for all, the question, "Who lives in a pineapple under the sea?" this list will provide you with fun facts, trivia answers, and more!
Tom Kenny, the voice actor responsible for your favorite absorbent, yellow, porous friend under the sea is real-life married to Jill Talley, who voices Plankton's computer wife, Karen, on the show. The two first appeared together on Fox's sketch comedy show, The Edge, in 1993.
They were also on Mr. Show from 1995-1998, after tying the knot in 1995. They have two children together, Mack (born in 1997), and Nora (born in 2003).

Tom Kenny Voiced Many of Your Favorite Childhood Characters
It's not uncommon for an actor to voice myriad characters. Usually, great voice actors can do many voices and change their vocal intonations at the drop of a hat. This makes them very marketable, and most book many gigs playing a variety of characters.
But even by voice actor standards, Tom Kenny has a lot of credits to his name. He's got over 359 voice acting credits, which means that he played a different character in each one. He's not only the voice of SpongeBob; Kenny has also voiced Dog from Catdog, Heffer from Rocko's Modern Life, Ice King from Adventure Time, the Mayor from The Powerpuff Girls, and Spyro from the Spyro games.

Whenever They're Able, All Of The Voice Actors Get Together To Do A Taping
Most animated films or TV series typically do each voice actor's recording separately, keeping in mind the scheduling needs of each actor. Each individual voice actor will record in their own private booth, and the recordings are sometimes done days or even weeks apart. On the set of SpongeBob, however, the voice actors try to get together to do their recordings as often as possible. Carolyn Lawrence, the voice of Sandy Cheeks, told About.com:
"On SpongeBob SquarePants and Jimmy Neutron they try to have the whole cast record together whenever possible. When the whole cast is there, I love it, because all the actors get to play off one another. When I think about it, I would have to say, that is my favorite way of working. Although, occasionally, if a character is really complicated, it can be good to record alone, because it is easier to achieve a higher level of concentration or focus."
