Need ideas for a stick and poke tattoo? Although many people associate the stick and poke style of tattooing with prison tats, these DIY tattoos are an awesome look for everyone. Stick and poke tattoos are actually more or less DIY tattoos, and pretty much anyone can do them. There are even S&P Tattoo Kits now available on the market that will provide you with all the necessary materials, and teach you everything you need to know about how to do a stick and poke tattoo yourself. The main difference between stick and poke tattoos and traditional tattoos, is that a tattoo machine is not needed for a stick and poke tat. Artists will take a single needle, dip it in ink, and poke it directly into the skin.
That being said, we must advise that stick and poke tats are not for everyone. Keep in mind that, like any tattoo, whatever you scrawl out on your skin is there for life, so unless you have the artistic skills of a doodling master, this may or may not be something you want to attempt yourself. In the wrong hands, stick and poke tattoos can go downhill very quickly, so if you're not an artistic master, you might want to consult a profession to help you with your new tattoo.Vote up the raddest stick and poke tattoo designs, and be sure to let us know what you think in the comment section!
