Across 23 films, the Marvel Cinematic Universe has brought some of the most popular heroes, villains, and supporting characters from the comics to the big screen - many of whom possess astonishing abilities and spectacular skills (though some are pretty weak when you think about it).
When it comes to the strongest MCU characters, raw strength isn't the only qualification. Instead, it’s important to look at how each individual uses unique abilities when facing enemies or carrying out missions. In the end, however, the choice is yours.
Here are the strongest Marvel characters ranked by the fans who love them.

Who He Is: The first child of Odin, Hela once fought and ruled alongside her father. But when her abilities - and lust for power - grew too great, the All-Father exiled her and buried the very memory of her.
What He Does: Aside from the impressive physical abilities of all Asgardians, Hela can generate endless blades at will. She's a skilled fighter and has a giant wolf as a sidekick, and her intro scene proves she has plenty of raw power.
Her Strongest Moment: Taking on the Warriors Three and the entirety of the Asgardian army all by herself - and slaying every last one of them - is hard to top. But Hela crushing Mjolnir in one hand bests even her other impressive feat.
Her Weakest Moment: Arguably, her weakest moment was when her own father banished her because her powers rivaled his.1,689540Is this a mighty MCU character?

Who He Is: Scientist Bruce Banner develops a second personality and superpowers after he's exposed to gamma rays during an experiment gone wrong.
What He Does: Banner can transform into the Incredible Hulk whenever he's angry - and he's always angry. He gains immeasurable physical strength (and seeming immortality) once transformed. He also used to lose his considerable mental prowess as well, but now he's unified the brain and brawn.
His Strongest Moment: It's hard to pick just one, but surviving the use of an Infinity Gauntlet is certainly a top contender.
His Weakest Moment: Having his mind hexed by Scarlet Witch, terrorizing a city, and then being soundly beaten by Tony Stark.1,773605Is this a mighty MCU character?

Who He Is: The (former) King of Asgard, the All-Father is wise, powerful, and devious. With the mind of Loki and the strength of Thor, this ruler is one of the strongest beings in the known realms.
What He Does: We really don't know all that Odin can do. The Odinforce, a cosmic energy he controls, seems to grant him nearly limitless power. He's able to remove Thor's abilities, for instance, and at his height he commands all of Asgard.
His Strongest Moment: Humbling Thor, the God of Thunder, and helping him on his path to true heroism.
His Weakest Moment: Burying his past as a tyrant and banishing his own daughter to a prison dimension. We know how well that turned out.1,543543Is this a mighty MCU character?

Who She Is: Born on Earth, Carol Danvers gains Kree DNA and cosmic powers while helping to stop an alien incursion. After losing her memory and being raised by the enemy, the Air Force pilot eventually discovers her true mission - and her full range of powers - as Captain Marvel.
What She Does: We've yet to see the full extent of Captain Marvel's powers, but she possesses flight, super-strength, and energy manipulation. The latter ability seems to have no limit, however, and allows Danvers to absorb and redirect incredible amounts of power.
Her Strongest Moment: Single-handedly obliterating Thanos's ship and most of his army when the Mad Titan comes to Earth.
Her Weakest Moment: Due to her limited screen time so far, Captain Marvel has yet to be brought low. But before she remembered her past and learned how to use all of her powers, Danvers spent six years being bested and manipulated by Yon-Rogg.2,036839Is this a mighty MCU character?
