Historical Figures Who Were Considered Hot In Their Times, Ranked By Modern Beauty Standards
Once upon a time these historical figures were considered sex symbols - historical hotties, if you will - but how they would fare today is up for debate.
History has legions of people who were the considered the most beautiful and seductive folks of their day and they were all deserving of the distinction for one reason or another. As time wears on, however, fads and styles change - what was once thought the pinnacle of beauty might now be seen as a less-than-savory characteristic. If time travel was possible, and the people on our list were plunked down in the middle of the 21st century, would they still be considered some of the hottest people around?
Beauty is subjective and in the eye of the beholder; we can't say what defines it for anyone but ourselves. We're not here to judge, but knowing what we know about today's trends in fashion, makeup, and fitness, the bulk of the people on this list probably won't make People's "World's Sexist" issue anytime soon.
