Unwritten rules are basically rules that are supposed to be followed by players, but they are not in any sort of rule book and your team will not be penalized if they are not followed, yet they have somehow developed over time. Many of the rules are centered around respect. You are not supposed run up the score, admire a home run, or steal a base when already ahead by a wide margin. While other unwritten rules are centered around revenge or not to jinx your own team. Most of these rules are ridiculous and outdated, but baseball is a sport rich in tradition and the consequences can be tough if these unwritten rules aren't followed. Cities that should have a baseball team include the large metropolitan areas in the United States and Canada that are currently lacking a Major League Baseball team but certainly could make a good case as to why they deserve one. Currently, the MLB fields 30 teams and attracts an average of more than 30,000 fans per game, second only to attendance of the National Football League. With a draw like that, it only makes sense to bring America's pastime to other big cities across North America.Many of these cities have baseball teams currently, home to minor league teams, but as of the 2012 season, none of these areas enjoy a MLB team. Columbus for instance has the Clippers in the International League. Indianapolis also has an International League team with the Indians. The Portland Sea Dogs play in the Eastern League while the Oklahoma City RedHawks play in the Pacific Coast League. All of these cities have baseball teams, but there's a certain bit that is left desired between having a minor league team and one in the big leagues of the MLB.But even worse than having a minor league baseball team is not having one at all. Some formerly were home to MLB teams only to see the team move to another location for one reason or another. The Montreal Expos are the most recent example of that having been the first MLB franchise outside of the United States and existing from 1969 to 2004. Alas the Expos faced a multitude of issues and relocated, interestingly enough to America's capital, Washington DC.Whether these cities are simply big, deserving American cities like Buffalo, New York, Indianapolis, Indiana, and New Orleans, Louisiana, or worthy cities in Canada like Montreal, Vancouver and Ottawa, each of these metro areas could easily support a Major League Baseball team. Tyler Glasnow

Tyler Allen Glasnow (born August 23, 1993) is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Tampa Bay Rays of Major League Baseball (MLB). He previously played in MLB for the Pittsburgh Pirates. Glasnow attended William S. Hart High School in Santa Clarita, California. He committed to play college baseball for the University of Portland. The Pittsburgh Pirates selected Glasnow in the fifth round of the 2011 Major League Baseball draft. Glasnow signed with the Pirates for a $600,000 signing bonus. He made his professional debut in 2012 for the Gulf Coast Pirates of the Rookie-level Gulf Coast League in 2012. On July 31, 2018, Tyler was traded to the Tampa Bay Rays, along with Austin Meadows and a player to be named later, later revealed to be Shane Baz, for Chris Archer. He was immediately inserted into their starting rotation.[20] In his 11 starts with Tampa Bay, Glasnow posted an earned run average of 4.20, recording 64 strikeouts in 55.2 innings.

Aaron Judge

Aaron James Judge (born April 26, 1992) is an American professional baseball outfielder for the New York Yankees of Major League Baseball (MLB). Judge was unanimously selected as the American League (AL) Rookie of the Year in 2017 and finished second for AL Most Valuable Player. Judge, who played college baseball for the Fresno State Bulldogs, was selected by the Yankees in the first round of the 2013 MLB draft. After making his major league debut in 2016 and hitting a home run in his first career at bat, Judge went on to have a record-breaking rookie season in 2017. He was named an All-Star and won the Home Run Derby, becoming the first rookie to do so. Dellin Betances (born March 23, 1988) is an American professional baseball pitcher for the New York Mets of Major League Baseball (MLB). He previous played in MLB for the New York Yankees. Betances made his MLB debut with the Yankees in 2011, and was named an MLB All-Star in 2014, 2015, 2016, and 2017. On September 8, 2011, Betances was promoted to the majors for the first time. Betances and fellow prospect Andrew Brackman made their MLB debuts on September 22, 2011. In 2015 he became the first Yankees reliever in franchise history to reach the 100-strikeout club in back-to-back seasons, needing only 64 innings to do it this year. On December 24, 2019, Betances signed a one-year deal with the New York Mets. Christopher Riley Martin is an American professional baseball pitcher for the New York Yankees of Major League Baseball. He made his MLB debut with the Colorado Rockies during the 2014 season.
Martin played baseball at Arlington High School and McLennan Community College, but gave up on baseball after he suffered a shoulder injury. After working in a warehouse for three years, Martin began playing catch, and felt strong enough to try out for independent league baseball. After pitching for the Grand Prairie AirHogs in 2010, the Boston Red Sox of MLB signed Martin in 2011. He pitched in Minor League Baseball for the Red Sox organization until they traded him to the Rockies after the 2013 season. Martin pitched in MLB for the Rockies in 2014, and was traded to the Yankees after the season.

Adam Wainwright

Adam Parrish Wainwright (born August 30, 1981) is an American professional baseball pitcher for the St. Louis Cardinals of Major League Baseball (MLB). The Atlanta Braves selected him 29th overall in the first round of the 2000 amateur draft from Glynn Academy in Brunswick, Georgia. His performance in the minor leagues brought him notice as one of the Braves' top pitching prospects. The Braves traded him to the Cardinals after the 2003 season, receiving outfielder J. D. Drew in a deal which has since been considered lopsided in favor of the Cardinals. Wainwright made his MLB debut on September 11, 2005, against the New York Mets.
After spending his first full MLB season as a relief pitcher, Wainwright briefly assumed closer duties, saving the series-clinching games of both the 2006 National League Championship Series and World Series. The next season, he returned to starting pitching, a role in which he has since remained, except for 2011, which he missed due to Tommy John surgery. He emerged as an ace as he led the National League multiple times in wins, innings pitched, and games started. He also has multiple top-ten finishes in earned run average, strikeouts, walks plus hits per inning pitched, and complete games. In 2014, he became the first pitcher in Major League history to post nine of his first 18 starts with seven innings pitched and no runs allowed. In his career, Wainwright has won more than 150 games, three All-Star selections, two Rawlings Gold Glove Awards and finished in the top three in the Cy Young Award balloting four times.
With 1,705 strikeouts in his career to date, Wainwright is second in Cardinals' history to Bob Gibson (3,117) in Cardinals franchise history in strikeouts. He runs a fantasy football league where the registration fees go to charity. He is currently signed through 2019.

Noah Seth Syndergaard (born August 29, 1992), nicknamed Thor, is an American professional baseball pitcher for the New York Mets of Major League Baseball (MLB). The Toronto Blue Jays selected him in the first round of the 2010 MLB draft and traded him to the Mets in 2012. Syndergaard made his MLB debut with the Mets on May 12, 2015, and served as their Opening Day starting pitcher in 2017 and 2018. He was named to the National League All-Star team in 2016, and has won the National League Player of the Week Award four times. Syndergaard made his major league debut for the Mets against the Chicago Cubs on May 12 at Wrigley Field in Chicago. Syndergaard earned the loss as the Mets lost 6–1. During his career, Sabathia has been named an All-Star six times and has won the Warren Spahn Award three times.
