Which Teen Movie You Should Watch, Based On Your Zodiac Sign

Updated March 8, 2018 3.2k views12 items

Who doesn’t secretly love watching teen movies? Exactly! We all do! That’s why we’ve determined which teen movie is perfect for you based on your zodiac sign. Seriously, here are your weekend plans all figured out right here for you.

While teen films can often be disregarded as a guilty pleasure movie, they are often much deeper and intellectual than they first appear. Teen movies can also be extremely therapeutic to watch, as the viewer can watch a character endure the same difficulties as they did, yet the character may overcome said difficulties in a way in which the viewer wasn't quite able to. Oh, and there’s also the nostalgia factor. Long story short, teen movies are awesome.

It can be difficult to choose just one teen movie to watch, since there are so many great teen movies out there. Well, just like your zodiac sign can point you in the direction of the perfect horror movie for you, it can also point you in the direction of the best teen movie for you to watch and below we have yours. Like we said, we have your weekend plans right here! Or at least, two hours of your weekend plans.

  • Leo (July 23 - August 22): 'Bring It On'
    Video: YouTube

Leo is creative, warm, and charming, which often causes people to flock to them. Of course, Leo enjoys that people naturally flock to them because Leo loves being the center of attention. Like, there’s nothing Leo enjoys more than soaking up the attention of others - however, this can also make them come off as arrogant and self-centered.

Any Leo would love watching Bring It On, as it’s pretty much about being the center of attention. They would connect with all the strong-willed, yet very different characters in the film. Plus, Bring It On is more than just a teen movie about cheerleaders - it’s actually about race relations and so much deeper than it initially seems.

    • Actors: Kirsten Dunst, Eliza Dushku, Gabrielle Union, Bianca Kajlich, Tsianina Joelson
    • Released: 2000
    • Directed by: Peyton Reed

  • Virgo (August 23 - September 22): 'Easy A'
    Video: YouTube

Virgo is easily the hardest-working sign of the zodiac. They keep their head down and get the job done, then keep their head down some more. They loath being the center of attention. They are kind, but can be overly-critical of both themselves and of others.

Because Virgo is the hardest-working sign, who can turn nearly any lemon into a million dollar business idea, they should watch Easy A. In Easy A, Emma Stone’s Olive is labeled easy, but turns it into a lucrative business in which she accepts money from outsiders and tells people she slept with them. This helps their reputation and makes Olive money, so win-win.Virgo would not only love the work ethic element of the film, but it's also Stone at her finest. Yes, even the hard-working Virgo can't help but appreciate the charm of Emma Stone.

    • Actors: Emma Stone, Amanda Bynes, Aly Michalka, Lisa Kudrow, Malcolm McDowell
    • Released: 2010
    • Directed by: Will Gluck

  • Libra (September 23 - October 22): 'The Breakfast Club'
    Video: YouTube

Libra is a social sign that thrives in harmonious situations. They feel energized when they are surrounded by friends getting along, working together, and laughing. Likewise, Libra can feel drained when they are surrounded by people in conflict or opposition; they are justice-seeking and fair-minded, and hate conformity.

Obviously, Libra would just love The Breakfast Club. Sure, these characters initially dislike each other and do confront each other - which Libra hates - but the way in which these characters deeply connect to one another would totally hit Libra’s sweet spot. Yes, they may all seemingly walk away and never keep up with these relationships, but they really did get along for a day, damn it!

    • Actors: Judd Nelson, Molly Ringwald, Anthony Michael Hall, Emilio Estevez, Ally Sheedy
    • Released: 1985
    • Directed by: John Hughes

  • Scorpio (October 23 - November 21): 'Cruel Intentions'
    Video: YouTube

Scorpio is a secretive and passionate sign, which is why Scorpio is known as the sign you do not mess with. If you cross a Scorpio, they will get revenge in some secretive, manipulative, and horrible way - they are a sign ruled by their passions. They follow their hearts, but they also follow their hearts when they’ve been wronged. If Scorpio wants to hit you over the head with a frying pan because you cheated on them, they probably will.

That said, Scorpio could get down with the dark and twisted Cruel Intentions. The film is about manipulation, secrets, and sex; it doesn’t really feel like a teen movie, but it really is about teens. Cruel Intentions may be too dark and twisted for some, but not for the Scorpio.

    • Actors: Reese Witherspoon, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Tara Reid, Ryan Phillippe, Selma Blair
    • Released: 1999
    • Directed by: Roger Kumble
