The sixties were a great time for music. You might even say that the best albums released between 1960 and 1969 helped define the following five decades worth of music. From the sweet harmonies of the Beach Boys and the Ronettes, to the New York City rock legends Velvet Underground and Jimi Hendrix, the sixties gave us a wide-ranging musical palette. Nobel Prize winner Bob Dylan redefined the singer-songwriter while the Beatles revealed the depth of psychedelia.
