Video games are serious business. If you're really putting a lot of time, and emotional energy, into anything that someone can destroy, you're already setting yourself up for a lot of frustration and a lot of disappointment. Enter these complete f*cking psychopaths.

From a guy who found out where a kid lived just to break into his house and choke him, to people who've murdered others over fictional swords, and even it being "their turn", here are the most brutal accounts of video game revenge in recent history.

Be careful what you say out there.

Guy Shoots Cousin in the Head Over Scarface Game

22 year old Alejandro Garcia and his 17 year old cousin were sitting around with some friends, drinking, smoking weed, and (worst of all) playing the Scarface: The World Is Yours video game. The game is based on the movie in which Al Pacino stars as a Cuban refugee who descends into a world of drugs, crime and power (which for some reason resonates with every mainstream rapper ever).

Well, the four guys were taking turns playing the game when they forgot whose turn it was. Instead of putting down the bong and discussing this, or just having someone take a turn, Alejandro decided the best coarse of action, since his turn was like two guys away was to use violence. So, he proceeded shoot his cousin in the head at point blank range (of course, killing him). Because it was his turn, afterall.

Alejandro surrendered to the authorities and plead guilty to the shooting. He accepted a plea bargain that gave him 30 years in prison, where it'll pretty much always be his turn... ifyouknowwhatimsayinn

Uncle Kills 9 Year-Old Nephew Over Video Game

Fourth grade student Anthony Maldonado was spending the weekend with his uncle in the projects when 25-year-old Alejandro Morales — one of his uncle's roommates — stabbed him over a Tony Hawk skateboarding video game.

Allegedly, Morales stabbed 9 year old Anthony at around 3:30 am (because a 9 year old boy should be up playing video games at that hour) after two of Morales' brothers who also live in the apartment left to get food. After he was stabbed, Anthony staggered to his Uncle's room and knocked on the door, "Uncle, uncle, I've been stabbed," he said before collapsing.

The Uncle said his roommate was a "good-natured prankster" and said, "he was a friend. I can't believe this happened, he didn't act right on the street but he always minded his manners in the house." Police say Morales has a history of mental illness and a long rap sheet with "dozens of arrests."

Dozens of arrests. This is not the person you leave taking care of a young child. Someone with dozens of arrests.

Adult Man Chokes Schoolboy Over CoD Griefing

Talk about a sore loser.

Unemployed father of three, Mark Bradford, was furious when a 13-year-old boy killed his character during a game of Call Of Duty. Brandford said he "lost it" when the youngster goaded him over his online death. So he did what any rational, adult, parent would do... he found where the boy was (conveniently, 200 yards away) and choked him out.

The two had been playing COD: Black Ops against each other and apparently the kid had been talking smack the whole time.

The boy, who cannot be identified, said: 'I was just sat playing. We’d had a bit of a joke and then he stormed in and grabbed me. I didn't know what was going on."

The attack ended when the teenager's horrified mother pulled Bradford off the boy, who was left scratched and with a dark, reddened neck, while Bradford walked away without a word. But really what was he going to say? "YOU'RE the f*g!"? I think not.

What he did say in court was, "I'd been playing the whole day and he was baiting me and baiting me and just would not shut up. He went on and on and I just lost it. I hold my hands up, I lost the plot. In a moment of madness I went round to his house. I didn't know what I was going to do. It wasn't malice. I just grabbed him. I've seen him since and apologized. We've played online too. He's actually a decent kid."

That he almost killed.

The teenager's mother, 33, said: 'It’s pathetic that a grown man would attack a defenseless child like this. If you can’t handle losing to a child then you shouldn’t be playing games.'

Perhaps she should tell his son if he doesn't have anything nice to say, don’t' say it at all or at least make sure you're big enough to back it up and the other guy doesn't know where you live. Advice for all of us.

Guild War Turns Into Gang War

Sometimes what happens in-game, should stay in-game. This is one of the best examples. Ever.

In Lineage II, gamers gather into guilds to take on missions and to defeat rival guilds. Most of the time these raids result in nothing more than heated words over chat. In the mean streets of the Russian gaming scene though, they can lead to all out war (but really, anything can lead to war in the mean streets of Russian anything).

When two rival guilds went head to head in the game, the fight got so out of hand that they decided that there was no other choice but to take it to the streets (the actual streets). In a rumble straight out of West Side Story, the two gangs had it out, leaving one member dead.

I guess it is true what they say, in Russia, video game plays you.
