From lighthearted sitcoms to sci-fi thrillers to shows that tackle race relations head on, some amazing work has come out showcasing spectacular African American writers, producers, and actors. What shows will you find on this new Black shows list? Power Book II: Ghost is one of a series of spin-offs of Power, with the new spinoff focusing on the story of Tariq. The hit The Wonder Years premiered in 2021, and was based on the 1988 show of the same name. Other good series featured on this list include A Black Lady Sketch Show, When They See Us, and P-Valley.
