Cheerios have been a part of breakfast since they were first introduced by General Mills in 1941. Other the years, the basic recipe of the cereal hasn't changed much: little circles made from oats, tasty eaten on their own or spooned up with milk. Today, though, there are dozens of types of Cheerios to choose from. Whether you're looking for a bowlful with extra protein, crispy clusters, or a touch of sweetness, Cheerios has a flavor for you.

What are all the Cheerios flavors? This list rounds up every kind, from classic standbys to more recent cereal innovations. Original Cheerios have been pleasing diners for decades. Honey Nut Cheerios are an older type, too – this sweeter variety debuted in 1979, and have been a top-seller ever since. General Mills has experimented with unique flavors as well. Boxes of Dulce de Leche Cheerios and Berry Burst Cheerios briefly appeared on grocery store shelves in the 2000s. In 1999, Cheerios even welcomed the new millennium with a special cereal: Millenios, which featured cereal pieces in the shapes of 2's so consumers could make little 2000s in their bowls.
