The Best Female Indie Artists & Female-Fronted Bands

Contrary to pop(ular) belief, there are actual female musicians with real, legitimate musical talent, particularly in indie rock. Physical beauty is always nice but you can't listen to that and choreography is ear-boredom. Lip-synching is silent and when it isn't, you wish it was.

No such problems exist with the music of these bands and artists, although some of them are kinda cute...which isn't a problem but that's beside the point.
