What are some of the best new television adventure shows? Action and adventure lurk around every corner in The CW series Supergirl as Melissa Benoist stars as the title character and her alter-ego Kara Danvers. The sci-fi drama Westworld is another great adventure show that has recently premiered. Space adventure returned to the small screen when Star Trek: Discovery premiered in 2017.
