A list of the best snowboarding movies. This is a list of films featuring snowboarding. We believe we've got them all, but if your favorite snowboarding film is missing, please feel free to add it to the list of best snowboarding films yourself. Unlike skiing, snowboarding is still a rather new sport. The proto-snowboard, known as a "snurfer", was created in the mid-60's, with the snowboard itself arriving in 1977.

Since then, snowboarding has gone mainstream, earning itself a place in the Olympics in 1998 and giving us myriad snowboarding movies for our entertainment. Hollywood, always one to jump onto any emerging fad, has featured snowboarding for decades and these are some of the best snowboarding films to date.

What are the best snowboarding movies? Take a look at this list and you'll find out that answer. If something is missing, feel free to add it.
