The Best Songs About Hearts

List Rules
Songs with the word "heart" in the name or title.

As Bob Marley once said, "The one good thing about music/When it hits you, you feel no pain." These songs are all about matters of the heart - whether your heart has been broken, or is aching with longing, the best songs about hearts were written to help you heal. While there are great songs about hearts that are gooey and sweet, the best songs about hearts - from Moby to Britney Spears - are all about being broken hearted.

What's the most popular song about hearts? Billy Ray Cyrus's "Achy Breaky Heart" tops our list. Before he was Miley Cyrus's dad, Billy Ray was a chart-topping country/pop singer. Cyrus released "Achy Breaky Heart" in 1992, and became the first Country single to hit Platinum in almost a decade.

The biggest hit on our list is Céline Dion's 1998 instant classic, "My Heart Will Go On," aka, the "Love Theme from Titanic." It sold over 15 million copies worldwide, and dominated the 1999 Grammy awards.

The music video for "Heart-Shaped Glasses" by Marilyn Manson was incredibly controversial - the two are seen at the beginning of the video engaging in sexual intercourse. Rumor has it that it was actual footage of the two lovebirds having sex, but neither Manson or Woods ever confirmed the rumors. Manson, however, has been known to reply suggestively when asked, which only propelled the rumors further.

Who could forget Britney Spears's mournful "From the Bottom of My Broken Heart?" Or the popular club hit, "Heart Skipped a Beat," by the xx? Or even the Beatles's "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band?" Vote up the best song about hearts, and be sure to add any that we may have missed.
