'Star Wars' Memes That Make It Perfectly Clear The Empire Did Nothing Wrong

When the sci-fi classic Star Wars debuted in theaters in 1977, it affected an entire generation. The Star Wars franchise consists of films, television series, an innumerable collection of books and video games, and an ill-fated Christmas special. Once nonsensical made-up words like Jedi, Sith, and Chewbacca are part of the modern global lexicon.

And now that the entire fictional universe is properly fleshed out, many people wonder if the original movie presents the Empire truthfully. Was it all just rebel propaganda to make the true good guys seem villainous? Some Star Wars fan theorists believe characters like Emperor Palpatine and Darth Vader got incredibly unfair reps. Maybe they were bringers of peace and order after all.

In fact, these Star Wars memes make it perfectly clear the Empire did nothing wrong. Perhaps the Rebel Alliance members are the true evildoers, bringing disorder and spreading chaos across the galaxy.
