The Best Quarterbacks Who Backed Up Brett Favre
The list of Brett Favre's former backup quarterbacks is long and impressive. Most of them had to make a name for themselves either before or after backing up Favre because he rarely, if ever, missed even a snap. There's the former Super Bowl-winning Jim McMahon; Matt Hasselbeck won a Super Bowl after being traded to Seattle; arguably the best quarterback in the league today and one of the best of all time, Aaron Rodgers, led Green Bay to a Super Bowl victory after Favre departed; and the backups' accomplishments don't stop there. There are Heisman winners and playoff appearances galore. The Packers even tried out "The Greatest Show on Turf" ringleader, Kurt Warner, as an undrafted free agent out of college in 1994, but he didn't make the final roster and is not included on the list here.
