Children of divorce don't have an easy life. Growing up with parents who have separated adds plenty of extra stress and problems that young kids are often not equipped to deal with - whether it is a bad way of finding out their parents are getting divorced or being caught in the middle of fights. Yet, most kids who go through divorce are able to overcome the issues without too much effort, even if they struggle at the beginning.

This alternative family arrangement can have some benefits, and there are unique things about children of divorce. Having to grow up with two separate parents in different houses gives children a refreshing outlook on the world.
