The Worst Things for Angelenos to Hear
Living in Los Angeles definitely has its pros and cons - sometimes more cons than pros. For instance, the parking situation in this city is a nightmare, and it can feel impossible to get a good slice of pizza. But there are a lot of upsides to living in Los Angeles, too! For one, you can get carne asada ANYTHING at any time of the day. And uh… OK, the best thing we can come up with is the carne asada. Maybe we’re gluttons, but we don’t care. After tallying up the parking, traffic, and bad pizza, the worst thing about Los Angeles isn’t any of that stuff. It's actually the other people in LA and the horrible things that they say.
Despite the threat of mudslides, devastating earthquakes, and apparently typhoons, the thing that terrifies us the most about Los Angeles is having to listen to other people speak. We know that makes us sound like complete monsters, but after hearing the five thousandth person openly talk about her improv troupe at a coffee shop, we think it’s completely OK to say that we think you should have to pay a dollar before you speak out loud in Los Angeles. Maybe the money can be used to pay off nasty parking enforcement officers who are about to give you a ticket! Think about that great plan while you check out this list of the worst things for Angelenos to hear.
Vote up the worst thing you can say to a person in LA, and if there’s something that you can’t stand hearing that's not on the list, you know what to do!- 1
