Hogsmeade is the only entirely wizarding community in Britain, but it ironically has Muggles to thank for it. Hengist of Woodcroft founded Hogsmeade after discovering the area while fleeing Muggles. He realized he had stumbled upon a setting no one knew about and decided to prolong his stay to avoid Muggles.

Over time, Hengist settled there and developed it into the village that came to be known as Hogsmeade. Today, Hogsmeade continues to be inhabited exclusively by witches and wizards.

Ilvermorny School in America has origins that can be traced back to Europe, specifically to the Slytherin family. The school's founder, Isolt Sayre, escaped her dark witch aunt, Gormlaith Gaunt, with Salazar Slytherin's wand; it had been passed down for generations.

Isolt decided to bury the wand in Ilvermorny's grounds after thwarting Gormlaith's attempt to storm the school. The wand was sentient to a degree, and it became a living thing of sorts when a Snakewood tree sprouted from where it was buried. Leaves of the tree are used for medicinal purposes, which makes Ilvermorny's grounds unique, as there are no other Snakewood trees like it in the world.

Harry and his friends find the Veil in the Department of Mysteries and are unable to understand what it is supposed to be. Many have questioned how the Veil got into the Ministry of Magic if it's impossible to move it - in reality, it was always there.

The Ministry of Magic was built around the Veil. The ambiguity behind the connection of the Ministry and the Veil has gone on for so long that the only thing known with absolute certainty is that the Veil has been around as long as the Ministry itself.

Malfoy Manor Was A Gift From William The Conquerer

The Malfoys' hatred of Muggles makes it safe to say that the Malfoy Manor will never have a non-magical person set foot in it. However, the mansion itself was acquired from non-magical people.

Over a thousand years ago, William the Conquerer employed the services of a wizard known as Armand Malfoy. Armand helped William seize control of the country through magical means, and William presented Armand with a piece of land in Wiltshire as a gift. The land in question was taken by force from the Muggles who rightfully owned it, which means the entire history of the Malfoy family is a sham since Muggles are the true source of their wealth.

The South American School Castelobruxo Is Located In The Amazon Rainforest

Castelobruxo is the South American equivalent of Ilvermorny in North America, but has a grander castle and backdrop. The school is located deep within the Amazon rainforest in Brazil - Muggles will only see an ancient ruin should they find it.

Castelobruxo is situated entirely on a magnificent golden rock and is protected not by magical charms, but by spirit beings known as Caipora. The natural ecosystem of Castelobruxo has allowed it to specialize in Herbology and Magizoology. Bill Weasley's pen pal was a student at Castelobruxo who wanted to study at Hogwarts as an exchange student, as the schools offer such an arrangement.

The Fijian Crab Reserve Protects Fire Crabs From Poachers And Muggles

The island of Fiji has its own population of wizards and magical creatures. Fire Crabs became endangered after wizard poachers started hunting them, and the Fijian Fire Crab Reserve was created as a result.

The reserve is a coastal area that houses Fiji's Fire Crab population, which is protected from both Muggles and wizards seeking to hunt Fire Crabs. The secrecy behind the reserve is such that its exact location isn't known, as the facility is hidden away in one of the 300 islands of Fiji.
