"Thor: The Dark World" movie quotes follow the action in the Marvel superhero action film. The movie was directed by Alan Taylor using a screenplay by Christopher Yost, Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely and the character created by Stan Lee, Larry Lieber and Jack Kirby. "Thor: The Dark World" opened in the United States on November 8, 2013.

In "Thor: The Dark World," the action follows that which occurred in "The Avengers," The Nine Realms are in danger with a mysterious enemy, Malekith (Christopher Eccleston), out for revenge and seeking to send the universe into darkness. As not even Odin (Anthony Hopkins) or Asgard can begin to battle Malekith, that leaves their destiny in a very scary place.

Thor (Chris Helmsworth) steps up to the task of taking down Malekith and saving the Nine Realms. He however cannot do it alone and must both find Jane Foster (Natalie Portman) and bring her to Asgard and reunite with his nemesis brother Loki (Tom Hiddleston) to battle together.

Stellan Skarsgard, Isris Elba, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Kat Dennings, Ray Stevenson and Zachari Levi co-star in the action film.

If "Thor: The Dark World" isn't quite your style, there are many other great movies from which to choose including "Last Vegas," "Ender's Game, "The Counselor," "Bad Grandpa," "Escape Plan," "The Fifth Estate," "Captain Phillips," "Gravity," "Machete Kills," "Runner Runner," "Don Jon," "Rush, "Prisoners,", "Enough Said," "The Family," and "Riddick,".

Loki: "I think you missed a column."
Thor: "Shut up!"
Loki: "Look, why don't you let me take over? I'm clearly the best pilot."
Thor: "Is that right? Well out of the two of us, which one of us can actually fly? Not a word."
Loki: "Now they're following us. Now they're firing at us."
Thor: "Yes, thank you for the commentary, Loki. It's not at all distracting."
Loki: "Well done. You just decapitated your grandfather."

As Thor and Loki escape from Asgard, they bicker about who should be flying. Thor argues that of them two, he's the only one who can actually fly, but his decapitation of a status of his grandfather leaves that statement debatable.

Loki: "You must be truly desperate to come to me for help."
Thor: "You should know, when you betray me, I will kill you."
Loki: "When do we start?"

No one expected things to go well when Thor approached his estranged brother for help but few expected their conversation to include Thor talking about killing Loki and Loki being okay with that deal.

Loki: "After all this time, now you come to visit me, brother? Why? To mock?"
Thor: "I need your help. And I wish I could trust you."
Loki: "If you did, you'd be the fool I always took you for."

Though they may be brothers, Thor and Loki clearly don't have a great relationship. So when Thor reunites with Loki to ask for his help, Loki agrees but isn't offering much more than that.
