Tim Bergling (8 September 1989 – 20 April 2018) known professionally as Avicii, was a Swedish DJ, electronic musician, and songwriter. He rose to prominence in 2011 with his single "Levels." His debut studio album, True (2013), peaked in the top 10 in more than 15 countries and topped international dance charts. "Wake Me Up" topped most music markets in Europe and reached number four in the United States. His catalog also included the singles "I Could Be the One" with Nicky Romero, "You Make Me," "X You," "Hey Brother," "Addicted to You," "The Days," "The Nights," "Waiting for Love," "Without You," and "Lonely Together." Several music publications credit Bergling as among the DJs who ushered electronic music into Top 40 radio in the early 2010s.

Calvin Harris

Adam Richard Wiles (born 17 January 1984), known professionally as Calvin Harris, is a Scottish DJ, record producer, singer, and songwriter. He is known for his singles "We Found Love", "This Is What You Came For", "Summer", "Feel So Close", and "Feels". His collaboration with Rihanna, "We Found Love", became an international success, giving Harris his first number one single on the US Billboard Hot 100. He runs his own record label, Fly Eye Records, which he founded in 2010. In October 2014, he became the first artist to place three songs simultaneously on the top 10 of Billboard's Dance/Electronic Songs chart. Skrillex

Sonny John Moore (born January 15, 1988), known professionally as Skrillex, is an American record producer, DJ, musician, singer and songwriter. He released the "Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites" EP in late–2010 and "More Monsters and Sprites" EP in mid–2011, both of which have since become moderate commercial successes. On November 30, 2011, he received five Grammy Award nominations at the 54th Grammy Awards, including Best New Artist and won three: "Best Dance/Electronica Album," "Best Dance Recording," and "Best Remixed Recording, Non-Classical." On December 12, 2011, he was named MTV's Electronic Dance Music Artist of the Year. Skrillex has won eight Grammy Awards and holds the world record for most Grammys won by an Electronic Dance Music artist.

Martin Garrix

Martijn Gerard Garritsen (May 14, 1996), professionally known as Martin Garrix, is a Dutch DJ and record producer from Amstelveen. His most known singles are "Animals," "In the Name of Love," and "Scared to be Lonely." He was ranked number one on DJ Mag's Top 100 DJs list for three consecutive years (2016, 2017, and 2018). Garrix was discovered by Tiësto, whom he described as inspirational, humble, and legendary. Garrix launched his own record label called Stmpd Rcrds in 2016.

Swedish House Mafia

Swedish House Mafia is a Swedish house music supergroup consisting of Axwell, Steve Angello and Sebastian Ingrosso. The group officially formed in late 2008, and were placed at number ten on the DJ Mag Top 100 DJ Poll 2011 and have been called "the faces of mainstream progressive house music." In 2012, they were ranked at number twelve on the DJ Mag Top 100 Poll. On June 24, 2012 the group announced they would split up. Their final performance was at Ultra Miami on March 24, 2013. For the next five years Angello worked solo, while Axwell and Ingrosso performed as a duo. On March 25, 2018, the group reunited with a surprise closing set at the 20th anniversary of Ultra Music Festival in Miami, 2018.

Kygo

Kyrre Gørvell-Dahll (born 11 September 1991), better known by his stage name Kygo, is a Norwegian DJ, songwriter and record producer. He garnered international attention with his December 2013 remix of the track "I See Fire" by Ed Sheeran, and his March 2015 single "Firestone". In late 2015, Kygo became the fastest artist to reach 1 billion streams on Spotify and by June 2016, he had reached 2 billion streams on Spotify. He made history at the 2016 Rio Olympics when he became the first house music producer to perform at an Olympics closing ceremony. In March 2018, Billboard ranked Kygo 3rd on its 2018 ranking of dance musicians titled Billboard Dance 100. In 2018 he was ranked 32 on DJ Mag's top 100 DJs of the world. Kygo has studied piano since he was 6 years old and considers himself more of a pianist than a disc jockey. His music is generally around 100 beats per minute, compared to 128 beats per minute for traditional house music.

Daft Punk

Daft Punk is a French electronic music duo formed in Paris in 1993 by Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo and Thomas Bangalter. They achieved popularity in the late 1990s as part of the French house movement combining elements of house music with funk, techno, disco, rock and synthpop. They wear ornate helmets and gloves to assume robot personas in public appearances since 1999 and rarely grant interviews or appear on television. In 2013, Daft Punk released their fourth album, Random Access Memories, to acclaim; lead single "Get Lucky" reached the top 10 in the charts of 32 countries. Random Access Memories won five Grammy Awards in 2014, including Album of the Year and Record of the Year for "Get Lucky." In 2016, Daft Punk gained their first number one on the Billboard Hot 100 with the song "Starboy," a collaboration with The Weeknd. As of 2015, Daft Punk had sold over 12 million albums worldwide.

Galantis

Galantis is a Swedish electronic dance music production, songwriting and DJ duo consisting of Christian Karlsson and Linus Eklöw. The duo signed to Atlantic Records' dance imprint Big Beat Records in mid-2013. Recording in a studio in the Swedish archipelago in the Baltic Sea, the duo began to focus heavily on their artistic direction. They opt to combine the excitement and big energy of electronic music with meaningful songwriting. The first composition they agreed upon was "Smile". After that, their direction became clear. "We felt the urge to fill the dance world up with songs and with songwriting that created our sound," says Eklöw. Galantis released their debut album Pharmacy on 8 June 2015. The album features the four singles "You" (from their first EP), "Runaway (U & I)", "Gold Dust", and "Peanut Butter Jelly."

Armin van Buuren

Armin Jozef Jacobus Daniël van Buuren (born December 25, 1976) is a Dutch DJ, record producer and remixer from South Holland. Since 2001, he has hosted A State of Trance, a weekly radio show, which is broadcast to nearly 40 million listeners in 84 countries on over 100 FM radio stations. He has been ranked the number one DJ by DJ Mag a record of five times, four years in a row. He was ranked fourth on the DJ Mag Top 100 DJs list in 2015 and 2016, and third in 2017. In 2014, he was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Dance Recording for his single "This Is What It Feels Like" featuring Trevor Guthrie, which makes him the fourth trance artist ever to receive a Grammy Award nomination. In the United States, he holds the record for most entries, 21, on the Billboard Dance/Electronic Albums chart.

deadmau5

Joel Thomas Zimmerman (born January 5, 1981), known professionally as Deadmau5 (stylized as deadmau5; pronounced "dead mouse"), is a Canadian electronic music producer, DJ, and musician. Zimmerman produces progressive house music and other forms of electronic music. Zimmerman has received six Grammy Award nominations for his work. He has worked with other DJs and producers, such as Kaskade, MC Flipside, Rob Swire and Wolfgang Gartner. His debut studio album, "Get Scraped" was released in 2005, with follow-up "Vexillology" in 2006. His breakthrough, "Random Album Title," was released in 2008 and was certified gold in Canada, and silver the United Kingdom. After a hiatus, Zimmerman's eighth studio album, W:/2016Album/ was released in late 2016, with singles "Snowcone" and "Let Go."

Zedd

Anton Zaslavski (September 2, 1989), better known by his stage name Zedd, is a Russian-German record producer, DJ, multi-instrumentalist and songwriter. He primarily produces and performs electro house music, but has diversified his genre and musical style, drawing influences from progressive house, dubstep, and classical music. Zedd grew up and began his career in Kaiserslautern, Germany. In 2012, Zedd released "Clarity" featuring Foxes, which propelled him to mainstream success, reaching the 8th position on the Billboard Hot 100. Other well-known productions include the songs "Stay" with Alessia Cara, peaking at number 7, and, as a featured artist, "Break Free" with Ariana Grande, peaking at number 4. Zedd won a Grammy for Best Dance Recording at the 56th Grammy Awards for "Clarity." In March 2018, Billboard named Zedd as number seven on their 2018 ranking of dance musicians titled Billboard Dance 100.

Illenium

Nicholas D. Miller (December 26, 1990), known professionally as Illenium, is an American musician, DJ, and record producer. He has released three studio albums with his most recent, Ascend, being released in August 2019 on Astralwerks. That album was Illenium's first to top the Billboard Dance/Electronic Albums chart and also reached his highest peak on the Billboard 200 at number 14. Several of his songs have also appeared on the Billboard Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart including two 2019 singles that peaked at number 3: "Good Things Fall Apart" with Jon Bellion and "Takeaway" with The Chainsmokers (featuring Lennon Stella). Illenium has also worked on numerous notable remixes, including those for The Chainsmokers' "Don't Let Me Down" and Flume's "Say It," the latter of which won the award for "Remix of the Year" at the inaugural Electronic Music Awards in 2017.

Tiësto

Tijs Michiel Verwest OON (January 17, 1969), better known by his stage name Tiësto, is a Dutch DJ and record producer from Breda. He was named "the Greatest DJ of All Time" by Mix magazine in a poll voted by the fans. In 2013, he was voted by DJ Mag readers as the "best DJ of the last 20 years." He is also regarded as the "Godfather of EDM" by many sources. In April 2007 Tiësto launched his radio show Tiësto's Club Life on Radio 538 in the Netherlands and released his third studio album Elements of Life. The album reached number one on the Belgian album chart as well on Billboard Top Electronic Albums in the U.S. and received a nomination for a Grammy Award in 2008. Tiësto released his fourth studio album Kaleidoscope in October 2009, followed by A Town Called Paradise in June 2014. He won the Grammy Award for Best Remixed Recording, Non-Classical for his remixed version of John Legend's hit "All of Me" at the 57th Annual Grammy Awards.

Hardwell

Robbert van de Corput (born 7 January 1988), known professionally as Hardwell, is a Dutch DJ, record producer and remixer from Breda, North Brabant. Hardwell was voted the world's number one DJ on DJ Mag in 2013 and again in 2014. He was ranked at number three in the top 100 DJs 2018 poll by DJ Mag. Hardwell is best known for his sets at music festivals, including Ultra Music Festival, Sunburn and Tomorrowland. Hardwell first gained recognition in 2009 for his bootleg of "Show Me Love vs. Be". He founded the record label Revealed Recordings in 2010 and a radio show and podcast Hardwell On Air in 2011. He has released eight compilation albums through his label, as well as a documentary film. His debut studio album, United We Are, was released in 2015. On 7 September 2018, Hardwell announced his indefinite hiatus from touring, stating that he wanted to focus more on his personal life.

Flume

Harley Edward Streten, better known by his stage name Flume, is an Australian electronic music instrumentalist, producer and DJ. His debut self-titled album was released on 9 November 2012, which peaked at No. 1 on the ARIA Albums Chart and No. 13 in New Zealand. Its lead single, "Holdin On", reached the top 20 on the related ARIA Singles Chart and No. 22 in New Zealand. The album and single provided Flume with four wins and four nominations at the ARIA Music Awards of 2013: Wins included Best Male Artist, Breakthrough Artist – Release, Best Dance Release, and Producer of the Year.

Porter Robinson

Porter Weston Robinson (born July 15, 1992) is an American DJ, Grammy-nominated record producer and musician from Chapel Hill, North Carolina. His debut full-length studio album, Worlds, was released in 2014 and peaked at #1 on Billboard’s Top Dance/Electronic Albums. Robinson began releasing music under the alias Virtual Self in 2017, with his self-titled EP Virtual Self debuting the same year. Robinson was nominated for the 2019 Grammy Award for Best Dance Recording for his single "Ghost Voices." At the inaugural Electronic Music Awards in 2017, he was nominated for Single of the Year and Live Act of the Year, both with Madeon, for the single "Shelter" and the Shelter Live Tour, respectively. His other accolades include 5th place in DJ Times' 2013 ranking for America's Best DJ, 7th in the Billboard 21 under 21 list, topping InTheMix's 25 under 25 list, and winning the 2015 MTVU Artist of the Year. Robinson also made DJ Mag's Top 100 DJ's list for seven consecutive years.

Odesza

ODESZA is an American electronic music duo from Seattle consisting of Harrison Mills and Clayton Knight. The group was formed in 2012 shortly before Mills and Knight graduated from Western Washington University. Their debut album, Summer's Gone, was released in 2012 to much acclaim in the underground electronic music community. ODESZA followed Summer's Gone with their first EP, My Friends Never Die, in 2013 and their second studio album, In Return, in 2014. The duo released the deluxe edition of In Return on September 18, 2015 via Counter Records, an extended version of the original album plus three live recordings all featuring a horn section, instrumentals, and a new track "Light" (featuring Little Dragon). On December 7, 2015, ODESZA's "Say My Name" (RAC mix) was nominated for Best Remixed Recording, Non-Classical at the 58th Annual Grammy Awards. The duo's third studio album, A Moment Apart was released on September 8, 2017. On November 28, 2017, A Moment Apart was nominated for Best Dance/Electronic Album at the 60th Annual Grammy Awards; their single "Line of Sight" featuring WYNNE & Mansionair was nominated for Best Dance Recording. In addition to the Grammy nomination, A Moment Apart reached #3 on the Billboard Top 200 and #1 on the Top Electronic/Dance Albums Chart.

David Guetta

Pierre David Guetta (November 7, 1967) is a French DJ, music programmer, record producer and songwriter. He has sold over nine million albums and thirty million singles worldwide. In 2013, Billboard crowned "When Love Takes Over" as the number one dance-pop collaboration of all time. Born and raised in Paris, he released his first album, Just a Little More Love, in 2002. Later, he released Guetta Blaster (2004) and Pop Life (2007). Guetta achieved mainstream success with his 2009 album One Love which included the hit singles "When Love Takes Over," "Gettin' Over You," "Sexy Bitch," and "Memories," the first three of which reached number one in the United Kingdom. The 2011 follow-up album, Nothing but the Beat, continued this success, containing the hit singles "Where Them Girls At," "Little Bad Girl," "Without You," "Titanium," and "Turn Me On." He has been called the "grandfather of EDM."

Kaskade

Ryan Gary Raddon (born February 25, 1971), better known by his stage name Kaskade, is an American DJ, record producer and remixer. In 2013, Kaskade was nominated for two Grammy Awards: the song "Atmosphere" for Best Dance Recording and the album Atmosphere for Best Dance/Electronica Album. In 2014, Kaskade was listed as the eighth highest paid DJ in the world according to Forbes, earning $17 million. In 2015, he headlined Coachella alongside Drake for two weekends and, over the course of the two weekends, pulled in the two largest crowds the festival had ever seen.

Eric Prydz

Eric Sheridan Prydz (born 19 July 1976), also known by his aliases Pryda and Cirez D (among a number of others), is a Swedish DJ, record producer, and musician. He rose to fame with his 2004 hit single "Call on Me," and saw continued chart success with "Proper Education" in 2007, and "Pjanoo" in 2008. In 2016, he released his debut studio album, Opus. In 2017, he won DJ of the Year at the Electronic Music Awards and was also nominated for Live Act of the Year.

Marshmello

Christopher Comstock (born May 19, 1992), known professionally as Marshmello, is an American electronic music producer and DJ. He first gained international recognition by releasing remixes of songs by American DJ duo Jack Ü and Russian-German DJ Zedd. He is best known for the songs "Silence", "Wolves", "Friends", and "Happier", all of which have been certified multi-platinum in several countries and appeared in the Top 30 of the Billboard Hot 100. He was named by Forbes in eighth place on their annual ranking of the world's highest-paid DJs in 2017 as he earned $21 million in the twelve months prior June 2017.

The Chainsmokers

The Chainsmokers are an American DJ and production duo consisting of Alexander "Alex" Pall and Andrew "Drew" Taggart. They started out by releasing remixes of songs by indie artists. The EDM-pop duo achieved a breakthrough with their 2014 song "#Selfie", which became a top twenty single in several countries. They have won a Grammy award, two American Music Awards, seven Billboard Music Awards and nine iHeartRadio Music Awards. According to Forbes 2019 list of highest paid celebrities, the Chainsmokers were the highest paid DJs, dethroning Calvin Harris after six years.

Diplo

Thomas Wesley Pentz (November 10, 1978), known professionally as Diplo, is an American DJ, songwriter, and record producer based in Los Angeles, California. He is the co-creator and lead member of the electronic dancehall music project Major Lazer, a member of the supergroup LSD with Sia and Labrinth, a member of electronic duo Jack Ü with producer and DJ Skrillex, and a member of Silk City with Mark Ronson. He founded and manages record company Mad Decent, as well as co-founding the non-profit organization Heaps Decent. Among other jobs, he has worked as a school teacher in Philadelphia.

RL Grime

Henry Steinway, better known by his stage name, RL Grime, and also known as Clockwork is an American producer of hip hop, trap and bass music, and member of the Los Angeles electronic music collective WeDidIt. His debut Grapes EP was released in April 2012 on WeDidIt. His follow-up EP High Beams was released in July 2013 on Fool's Gold Records, which debuted at #8 on Billboard's Dance/Electronic Albums chart, and #1 on the iTunes Electronic Chart. RL Grime has produced remixes for Benny Benassi, Chief Keef, Jamie Lidell, and Shlohmo.

Seven Lions

Jeff Montalvo, known professionally as Seven Lions, is an American record producer, remixer, instrumentalist and DJ from Santa Barbara, California. Seven Lions' first significant track was his remix of Above & Beyond’s “You Got To Go.” He has also released three EPs which have charted on Beatport, and his track "Don't Leave" entered the UK Singles Chart in 2014. His 2014 EP Worlds Apart charted at No. 76 on the Billboard 200 albums chart.
