Transformers: Age of Extinction Movie Quotes

"Transformers: Age of Extinction" movie quotes bring the Autobots and Decepticons, plus some old friends, back to the big screen for a fourth installment of the action franchise. Written by Ehren Kruger, Michael Bay returns to direct the science fiction film based on the Hasbro toy brand. Showing in IMAX and 3D, "Transformers: Age of Extinction" opened on June 27, 2014.

In "Transformers: Age of Extinction," four years have passed since the last time the Transformers were seen but that all changes when single dad Cade Yeager (Mark Wahlberg) purchases an old truck. With daughter Tessa (Nicola Peltz) in tow, Cade learns that his truck is not ordinary, actually a deactivated Optimus Prime. Soon after, the government, led by Harold Atticus (Kelsey Grammer), is knocking at his door looking for the Autobot.

But there are bigger problems than just the government. Aliens are attacking and despite measures to kill off all of the Transformers, Optimus Prime (voiced by Peter Cullen) is ready to fight to save the humans once again. And while he has Cade at his side, the Autobots will need some help in this battle. Good thing the Dinobots are there to provide some backup. If that wasn't bad enough, they also have scientists, led by Joshua (Stanley Tucci), pushing the limits of the Transformers technology, an effort that surely cannot end well.

If three "Transformers" movies were enough, there are plenty of other great movies to see in theaters at the same time including "Think Like a Man Too," "22 Jump Street, "How to Train Your Dragon 2," "Hellion," "The Rover," The Fault in Our Stars," "Edge of Tomorrow," "A Million Ways to Die in the West," "Maleficent," "Night Moves," "Filth," "Blended," "X-Men: Days of Future Past," "The Immigrant," "The Love Punch, "The Angriest Man in Brooklyn, "Million Dollar Arm," "Godzilla," "Palo Alto," and "Chef."

Cade Yeager: "You've got to have faith, Prime, maybe not in who we are, but who we can be."

Optimus Prime is done with humans. They are coming after Transformers for reasons he cannot understand and is reasonably upset. Cade urges Prime to give them one last shot.

    It's Human Extinction

    Video: YouTube

Optimus Prime: "After all we have done, humans are hunting us but I fear we are all targets now. This is not war; it's human extinction."

Optimus Prime explains that Transformers are just misunderstood. Humans are trying to kill them off when really, it's the Transformers who are trying to save the humans from certain alien death.

Cade Yeager: "Bring it up, all the way! You guys have never seen a truck like this before."
Tessa Yeager: "Dad, you can't keep spending money on junk."
Cade Yeager: "I can break it down, strip it for parts. This stuff is what's going to put you in college!"

Cade Yeager: "Look, it's not normal steal. I don't think it's a truck at all. I think we just found a Transformer!"

Daughter Tessa isn't impressed when dad Cade brings home another old truck. But as he soon learns, this is no ordinary truck, rather a Transformer.

Harold Attinger: "You're trying to defend your family, that's admirable. I'm trying to defend the nation from alien war."

Harold Attinger could care less that Cade is working with the Transformers to save his daughter. That effort is not a priority to Attinger, who is focused on saving humanity from aliens.
