We either love to hate or hate to love TV villains. Without them, our favorite series would be extremely boring. Of course, good shows blur the line between heroes and villains, and the best shows foreshadow the radical changes that occur within these characters.

Here are amazing instances of "villain" foreshadowing that TV viewers have found.

SPOILERS ahead.

Bran's Story About The Rat Cook Ends Up Being Walder Frey's Reality In 'Game of Thrones'

This one is my favorite, Bran tells Meera and others about the rat cook. He tells of how God turned a cook into a giant white rat who killed the King's son and made pie with his body and fed it to the King. Bran explains God punished cook because he killed his guests under his roof. In the next scene we see Walder Frey having a pie who in the previous episode killed guests under his roof. Later on in season 6, we see Arya feed Walder Frey his son's finger. I like these little things in GOT.

Theon saying how he doesn't want to be looked at as a eunuch and a fool to his people and then becomes a eunuch and a fool.

Sad series of events that become even worse when you realize it was his biggest fear.

    From Redditor u/litta015:

In the show Lost, season 1, episode 4 entitled “Walkabout,” there’s a scene in John Locke’s backstory that includes him messing with a calculator. If you listen carefully, that’s the same sound that the smoke monster makes, foreshadowing the future relationship between Locke and the smoke monster.

Dexter Reveals His Ultimate Plan To Arthur Mitchell Before Killing Him In 'Dexter'

    From Redditor u/AciDic_Pleb:

After doing my 4th rewatch of the show I noticed a line Dexter said right before he killed Arthur Mitchell. Dexter said, "You were waiting to be stopped." Then Arthur said "It worked didn't it? Case in point." Dexter replied, "So, whats the alternative? Leave, disappear, fake my own death, and start over again?" Do you think this was intentional foreshadowing? Either way I think its a nice touch if so.

I actually think this is clever and foreshadowing. Dewey warns Daryl about Boyd. Boyd hushes him and makes business with Daryl. Nobody takes Dewey seriously, but he knows the that Boyd will later f*ck Daryl over.

After Gus has his interrogation with Hank and the other DEA agents, he twitches his finger each time the bell dings in the elevator after it reaches a new floor. Foreshadowing his death by Hector with the wheelchair.
