When it comes to the Twilight saga, Jacob's something of a mixed-bag character. In the early days of the fandom's craze, he was seen as the happy and healthy alternative to Edward's brooding, possessive, and stalkerish tendencies. But today? Most people recognize his behavior as being just as toxic, both with his vehement refusal to accept Bella's rejections and, of course, the Renesmee situation. It didn't have to be this way - he was actually a good kid in the first film before morphing into a bona fide Nice Guy™. Oh, well. At least the memes are good.
