    Try All Three Butterbeers

    From Redditor u/NuclearMedicineGuy:

Make sure you try all 3 kinds of butterbeer! From best to worst: hot butterbeer, frozen butterbeer, and then iced butterbeer. I know it’s strange but it is good for when you are walking around waiting for the dragon to spitfire. My family and I had warm butterbeer on Christmas Day and it was one of the best memories I have. Plus it was freaking delicious.

Also secret tip: don’t just go to the butterbeer carts for butterbeer. The hogshead and the butterbeer store usually have smaller lines.

    Super Parking Is Worth It

    From Redditor u/theymightbehalfgiant:

If you want to see the rest of the park, do other things first, because Hogsmeade will be busy all day no matter what. It's not easy to walk past Hogsmeade, though. When you go to the Jurassic Park ride (do it), use the individual line instead of the group line, and use the splash zone near the end to cool off on a hot day. The Three Broomsticks might have the best food in the park. Sticky toffee pudding and frozen butterbeer are great. Pay extra for the super parking, but not for the extra super-duper parking.

Arrive Early And Start With The Attractions

    From Redditor u/eyl327:

First, you will want to go as early as possible and you will want to go to the attractions first before going to the shops because the lines will get longer the more you wait. The lines were pretty short the entire time that we were there, but they might be longer if you go during the weekend (I don't really know). Anyway, I would suggest first going straight to the Forbidden Journey at Hogwarts. While you're there, don't rush through the queue line. Take your time to look around. There's a lot to see inside of Hogwarts. If you plan to go on the ride twice, do it right away, the lines will be slower if you come back much later. (If there are a lot of people, you might want to go on the ride first and then come back in to just look at Hogwarts). The Flight of the Hippogriff is often considered to be disappointing but I think it's still worth it. It feels like it ends too soon, but you get a good view of Hogwarts and you get to see Hagrid's Hut while you're on the way up to the ride. After that, go to the Ollivander wand-choosing ceremony (it's pretty adorable) and the wait can get pretty long later in the day (you may even decide to do this first).

Once you've gotten the rides and the wand show out of the way, check out all of the shops in Hogsmeade. A lot of the merchandise is repeated in different shops, but each shop has a theme and they did a great job with the detail. Basically, look at the detail they put into everything in the park.

Buy A Gold Pass For Free Parking

    From Redditor u/Jef43742:

If you buy a pass, buy a gold pass. It's only about $50 more and gets you free parking (normally $25+ per day) and a discount (something like 10/15/20 percent on everything, including food and souvenirs)

If you're buying passes for multiple people in the family, you might be able to get by with 1 gold pass and the rest silver passes. I've found that the extra days that gold gives you, I probably will never use since their busy days. Getting a single pass for the discounts and parking is worth it though!

Food prices are up. It seems like everything is much pricier than even a couple of years ago, so expect to spend about $20 per person for anything (even a burger and drink)

Choose Your Wand Before You Go

    From Redditor u/tectonictigress:

Don’t forget to get your wand from Ollivanders where they do the demonstration of the wand chooses the wizard, although I highly recommend you have an idea of what wand you want before you go because the store is small and crowded, you can buy general wands or character wands.
