    From Redditor u/SixInTheStix:

Cody all the way. Right at the east entrance to Yellowstone. Waaay cheaper than Jackson and just as good if not better views. Not to mention nightly rodeos... If you're into the western vibe.

    Take Three Days And Drive

    From Redditor u/unclefishbits:

If you aren't from the area, I would truly and really suggest going from Salt Lake up to Bonner's Ferry, take the 2 down through Glacier, down to YSNP, and then Grand Teton. It's a day's drive, easily, but you can make that whole thing in 3 days and it is worth it.

When in GTNP, there are great campgrounds around the Snake River, but Jackson Hole has plenty of awesome options and is SO MUCH FUN.

I nearly [perished] on the 14a last week... never driven a 10% grade prior to that, not sure I even knew what it was until my brakes felt mushy, and started making loud noises, found a pullout and smoke.
