List Rules Only brand-new shows that will be premiering on Disney+.

Announced with much excitement in April 2019, Disney+ became the latest streaming service to tempt our wallets and fill up our watch lists. With big names like Marvel, Pixar, and Star Wars among their brands (not counting the magic of Disney franchises themselves), the official lineup of Disney+ included a lot of great shows right out of the gate. Along with streaming services like Amazon Video, Hulu, and Netflix, channels like Disney+ feature some of the best shows on streaming TV right now. Disney, much like their subsidiary Marvel, has several phases of content they'll be rolling out in 2019, 2020, 2021, and beyond! An official teaser released January 1 reveals every show the service plans to premier in 2020.

One of the most anticipated shows from Disney+ in 2019 was The Mandalorian. This Star Wars spin-off takes place between the events of Episode VI – Return of the Jedi and Episode VII – The Force Awakens, and is already guaranteed to return for a second season. Another return to a favorite franchise is High School Musical: The Musical: The Series, which is based on the High School Musical series of films. But that's not the only musical series that premiered on Disney+ in 2019. Encore! is a revival of the 2017 Kristen Bell-hosted special, which reunites casts from high school musicals - when they're adults - and follows them as they re-stage their play.

Marvel's Phase 4 has almost as many Disney+ shows planned as they do new Marvel movies. Loki and Hawkeye both have shows scheduled for 2021, as do Scarlet Witch and Vision - though they'll be sharing a show with WandaVision. In 2020, Disney+ will be releasing a new Monsters Inc. franchise series, Monsters At Work, as well as a new show set in the MCU, with The Falcon and The Winter Soldier.

Which are the best shows that premiered on Disney+? Vote up the new Disney+ series you can't wait to watch and vote down the shows that aren't worthy of this new platform.
