Some of the most anticipated horror movies of 2018 continue established franchises. The Halloween series - which seems to have an unending shelf life in the horror world - is seeing a reboot overseen by the original creator. However, there's always room for new material as well. Polarizing filmmaker Lars von Trier is releasing The House That Jack Built, which chronicles 12 years in the life of a serial killer and is supposedly going to be one of Von Trier's bloodiest films to date. Other good 2018 upcoming horror films include Slender Man, The First Purge, Hereditary, Venom, and The Predator.
