Look for Timothée Chalamet taking over Kyle MacLachlan's role as Paul Atreides in the epic new Dune. The fun doesn't stop there with LeBron James in Space Jam: A New Legacy. Matrix fans will also be excited for Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Ann Moss coming back for the fourth installment in the franchise. Most of the new science fiction movies on this list might not be actually based in science but that just makes them all the more thrilling. But which one should the top the list?

Fans of Frank Herbet's classic science fiction novel can't wait for this star-studded remake that is being helmed by Denis Villeneuve, the creative mind behind Blade Runner 2049. You'll be able to follow Paul Atreides as his family makes a transition from their home world of Caladan to Arrakis, colloquially known as Dune. It is the only planet where the rare commodity of Spice can be found. From the trailer alone, it is evident that this adventure will be fraught with dangers and thrills to no end.
MCU stars Chris Pratt and J.K. Simmons can be found in this futuristic war film that also showcases Betty Gilpin and Yvonne Strahovski. Far into the future, humanity is losing against an alien invasion when they get new hope in the form of being able to recruit from the past.

Trinity (Carrie-Anne Moss) and Neo (Keanu Reeves) return for the fourth installment of The Matrix franchise alongise big names such as Priyanka Choproa and NPH! This film was a welcome announcement to those of us who are ready to jack back into the Matrix. But it's understandable that some fans might not be as excited if they were left underwhelmed by the previous two sequels to the original.
Antoine Fuqua teams up with Mark Wahlberg for this thriller that has a man discovering that his hallucinations are actually visions from his past lives. While not much more is known about this film, it's hard to go wrong with a film that has Wahlberg at the head of the cast alongside Chiwetel Ejiofor.

You'll find Tom Holland's thoughts on display as he plays his character Todd Hewitt opposite Daisy Ridley in this adventure film set on a planet where men's thoughts can be heard by everyone. Ridley plays a mysterious girl who crash lands on the aforementioned planet whose life is immediately in danger and while Todd vows to protect her, he must also discover his own power to unlock the secrets of his home planet.
