  • Aries (March 21-April 19): Daryl Dixon
Photo: The Walking Dead / AMC

Aries is an effective leader, and they know it. They're ready to rally the troops, but they may get easily frustrated by minor snags. The Ram uses their swagger to persuade others to join their way of thinking. Even if they're not always right, what matters most is they think they are.

Daryl Dixon is a dead shot with his crossbow, and he's a dead ringer for an Aries. He definitely wants to do things right, but he doesn't mind cutting corners (or heads off) if he can achieve the same result. He always has at least a few members of the crew on his side, and he'll protect them at all costs, even against his ex-brother and all around skeeze ball, Merle (may he rest in pieces).

    • Played By: Norman Reedus
  • Taurus (April 20-May 20): Maggie Greene
Photo: The Walking Dead / AMC

Taurus wants to get the job done, and they don't mind using their patience and determination to get them there. The Bull is a deeply rooted Earth sign, but they can be viewed as too rigid in their ideals or methods. Fiercely and even recklessly loyal, crossing the Bull's friends or companions is often a bad idea.

Maggie Greene is a full-on Taurus, and she's not afraid to show her bullhorns if her crew is threatened. Of course, the closer someone is to her, the more bullish she gets if they are in danger - or worse. Her patience and willpower have made her a survivor, but if the's going to stay for the long haul, she'll need to keep her bull energy in check.

    • Played By: Lauren Cohan
  • Gemini (May 21-June 20): Shane Walsh
Photo: The Walking Dead / AMC

Gemini can be seen as two-faced while they wrestle with their dualistic nature, but their shining intelligence makes up for their sometimes contradictory attitudes. Symbolized by the Twins, they may be fighting within themselves, causing them them to be unpredictable, which can be super fun or deceptively dangerous. They could reason their way into or out of almost any situation, and that can mean they lack a good moral compass.

Shane Walsh's double life and ultimate demise reeks of a Gemini gone sour. As a trustworthy leader on one hand and selfish tough guy on the other, his internal battle cast a long shadow over Rick's crew, even after his death. Perhaps if he had just had his charts read, he wouldn't have ended up, you know, trying to murder his best friend in cold blood.

    • Played By: Jon Bernthal
  • Cancer (June 21-July 22): Carol Peletier
Photo: The Walking Dead / AMC

Cancer carries a shell wherever they go, and they will retreat at the first sign of trouble. As a Water sign, they also have trouble managing the constant flood of emotions pouring over them at all times. The Crab may hide, but in time they will reemerge, often stronger than before and more intent on protecting those they love.

Carol is just Cancer-ing all over the place. Though she begins the series a timid crab ready to withdraw and give up, she soon recognizes her trauma fuels her insane capacity to fight and protect. She's put to the ultimate test a few times (how's Lizzie doing, lately?), but her ability to both nurture and protect wins out in the end once she balances her strong feelings.

    • Played By: Melissa McBride
  • Leo (July 23-August 22): Rick Grimes
Photo: The Walking Dead / AMC

Leo is the epitome of what most people picture when they think of a leader, and the Lion comes with some dangerous claws. Ambitious, talented, and ready for the spotlight, they thrive on pressure, especially if everyone can see them succeed. Though they mean well, it's important to note that their ego can get them in over the heads, which can put their allies at risk.

Rick's dignity, power, and self-importance plant him firmly in Leo territory. Not only does he want to win - he wants to thrive, and he wants everyone to know who did it. His self-assured attitude means he will bite even when it means putting his team in grave danger. Wait, there's a mysterious man somewhere out there named Negan who controls everything with an iron fist? Better take him down... or not. Or maybe! Or not.

    • Played By: Andrew Lincoln
  • Virgo (August 23-September 22): Eugene Porter

Virgo (August 23-September 22): Eugene Porter
Photo: The Walking Dead / AMC

Virgo is organized, resourceful, and highly logical. This Earth sign seeks practical solutions, even to a fault. They can get in their own way by over analyzing, and their smart minds can be applied to almost anything or anyone. They love to serve, but must be careful regarding what they choose to serve.

Eugene's sharp mind relies on his Virgo reasoning, and he has made both beneficial and disturbing decisions as a result. Lying about possessing a cure to the greatest epidemic mankind has ever faced just to get a free ride to nowhere is a pretty epic introduction to the way his self-preservationist logic works. Eugene decided long ago to survive at all costs, but the follow through may take more than a Virgo's brilliant brain.
