Here's a cool detail you might have missed: During a flashback to his childhood, Zeke is seen playing with a long-armed stuffed monkey. This foreshadows his eventual Beast Titan form.

This one is kind of adorable. According to a Q&A in Bessatsu Shonen Magazine, Annie can often be found talking in her sleep.

Rather than talking about something traumatic or revealing secrets, she says things like "woosh!" while dreaming about practicing kicks.

In most cases, Isayama designs human characters first, and then decides on their Titan form after that. Bertholdt is an exception - Isayama designed the Colossal Titan first, and then worked backwards to get to Bertholdt.

To come up with Betholdt's design, he asked himself this question: "What kind of character would I get if the somehow weakly and docile Colossal Titan was turned into a person?"

Many of the characters from Attack on Titan are inspired by pop culture, and Annie is no exception.

When designing Annie's hairstyle, Isayama used a photo of the famous pop-punk singer Avril Lavigne as a reference. Can you see the similiarities?

Though Isayama named Jean Kirstein as his favorite character in earlier interviews, he currently names Reiner as his favorite.

His characters agree with him - during a Q&A, Isayama revealed that Reiner was the most popular boy amongst the 104th cadets. We're guessing they've changed their opinion of him by this point, but maybe his popularity carries over into the Warrior Unit.

Falco and Mikasa might not seem like they're connected in any way, but they do share one important trait - they have the same birthday, February 10.

This means that their sign is Aquarius.
