Natasha, while posing as Stark's assistant, assumes a fighting stance when Iron Man and War Machine crash through the ceiling. This could have given away her Black Widow identity, especially since Pepper, whom she is with during the crash, reacts with fear like a normal person.
According to a Redditor, the tank "is actually an m3 Stuart, an American light tank, as they were much easier and cheaper to find, especially at the start of the war." Redditor u/lukefairchild added that the filmmakers "were so period correct they were period incorrect just to be even more correct."
