While the Deadpool movies are best known for Ryan Reynolds' foul-mouthed, pun-heavy depiction of the eponymous superhero, there are some incredible weapon and combat details that bring the same maximum effort to the screen. In Deadpool 2, for example, Wade actually recognizes a blood splatter effect on the camera, tipping him off that shots are coming from behind. There are tons of pop culture references to choose from, like how the opening credits of Deadpool 2 show that one of Wade's katanas has "Bea" (for Bea Arthur, his favorite Golden Girl) engraved on the hilt. There are even little details that reach into the Marvel comic book world. Again, in Deadpool 2, Wade tells Juggernaut, "It has always been a dream of mine to see my face reflected in your helmet as you charge at me with murderous intent," which is a very accurate description of the cover of a Deadpoolissue.
