Without powerful and maniacal villains, our favorite superheroes wouldn't get much action. Thankfully for the sake of our entertainment, these big-screen baddies always seem to be growing stronger, with weapon and combat details that fans online have taken a keen interest in. In Avengers: Infinity War, for example, when Thanos faces off with Doctor Strange, he uses the Soul Stone to temporarily knock the soul right out of the Master of the Mystic Arts. Over in Gotham, the Joker proves that he doesn't always rely on chaos. In The Dark Knight, when the Clown Prince of Crime puts a gun to his head with Harvey Dent's finger on the trigger, he actually holds back the hammer, which would prevent the gun from going off. Some of these details even seem to repeat themselves. In Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, keep an eye out for an homage to Spider-Man 2 when Doc Ock throws a car straight into a restaurant.
