The Weasleys, Harry's de facto family members in the Harry Potter series, provide the young wizard with comfort and care - something he certainly doesn't get growing up with the Dursleys. With nine people in the immediate family, the Weasleys have an extensive history. Ron's timeline is largely known to fans due to his close association with Harry, so it's worth diving into the lives of his parents and siblings, and how their stories intertwine with Ron's.
The family's history begins with the birth of patriarch Arthur and extends to what we know of the newest group of Weasley kids, making this a timeline that spans three generations.

In early-1981, Molly suffers through a family crisis while pregnant, when both of her brothers, Fabian and Gideon Prewett, are savagely eliminated by Voldemort's followers. Their passing hits her so hard that Molly becomes extremely protective of her remaining family and tends to be too smothering at times.
