The world of One Piece is in no shortage of Devil Fruits and the deadly power they store inside. Devil Fruits come in so many varieties that it’s hard to keep track of all their hidden powers. The strongest Paramecia Devil Fruits will give its eater extraordinary powers like creating shockwaves, while the strongest Logia-type Devil Fruits will bestow incredible elemental powers like lightning to its users. There are also some severely underrated Devil Fruit powers out there, like being able to transform yourself into smoke.
However, there are also Devil Fruit powers out in the Grand Line that are just plain weird. Becoming a giant chicken? Turning into a human soap bubble? Transforming your bazooka into a dog? Well, not every Devil Fruit power can be a winner, but the pirates in One Piece do what they can to make these bizarre powers work in their favor.
5. Berry-Berry Fruit
A berry--er, very weird Devil Fruit power is the Berry-Berry Fruit (Beri Beri no Mi), which allows the user to transform their body parts into a multitude of berry-like spheres. In the case of Captain Very Good, he was able to use his Devil Fruit power to nullify Franky’s Strong Right attack by breaking his body into berries. Unfortunately for Very Good, there’s not much use for the Berry-Berry Fruit outside of that defense mechanism. Roronoa Zoro was able to slice up those berry body parts to clear the way for Franky to defeat Very Good once and for all.Strange ability?
6. Art-Art Fruit
As E.A. Bucchianeri once said, “Art is in the eye of the beholder.” Well, if you had the power of the Art-Art Fruit, you could turn everything you see into a great work of art. The Art-Art Fruit (Ato Ato no Mi) gives the user the ability to transform any living or nonliving thing into abstract art. Giolla used her Art-Art Fruit powers against the Straw Hats by transforming its members and the Thousand Sunny into a work of art that Pablo Picasso would be proud of.Strange ability?
7. Cook-Cook Fruit
The Cook-Cook Fruit is the perfect Devil Fruit for anyone that wants a last-minute snack wherever they go. Anyone that has eaten the Cook-Cook Fruit (Kuku Kuku no Mi) will be able to transform any object into food. That means taking a log and turning it into a baked ham to slice and serve. The catch, however, is that while newly-transformed food is edible, it doesn’t taste very good. Still, Sanji would never let food go to waste, and neither should you.Strange ability?
8. Butter-Butter Fruit
Who could have guessed the most deadly substance on Earth would be butter? Whoever eats the Butter-Butter Fruit (Bata Bata no Mi) will have the power to create and manipulate butter. As demonstrated by Charlotte Galette, the globs of butter from the Butter-Butter Fruit can be used as an adhesive to immobilize enemies, leaving them open to an attack. Think of it as a sticky bomb of saturated fat.Strange ability?
