Fans of Donald Glover were gifted with the actor's extraordinary abilities when he strolled onto the set of FX's Atlanta when the series premiered in 2016. Prior to the new drama show, much of Glover's work had been rooted in his performance on Community and as the rapper Childish Gambino. Atlanta developed into a series involving both comedy and drama as two cousins attempt to maneuver through the Atlanta rap scene, and its success is rooted in Glover's skills as an actor, producer, director, and writer.
