If you’ve just finished Mad Men, congratulations. It’s an outstanding show. Now, however, you’re probably wondering what to watch after Mad Men? This list can help. It includes numerous movies and TV shows like Mad Men.

Many of the shows like Mad Men on this list are set around the same time frame as Mad Men: the 1960s. Among them: The Astronaut Wives Club, Masters of Sex, American Dreams, Pan Am, and Magic City. They may not be exactly like Mad Men in terms of storylines, but if you love this era, these will entertain. And Halt and Catch Fire, while not set in the 60s, definitely gives off a Mad Men-ish vibe. Additionally, if you haven't seen The Sopranos, know that Mad Men creator Matthew Weiner was a writer for the final seasons of the show - it's worth watching for that reason alone.

As for Mad Men similar movies, that opens up a slew of Mad Men recommendations. Catch Me If You Can, The Apartment, The Swimmer, and How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying are all strong contenders. As with the Mad Men similar shows, the plots might not be identical, but they’re certainly close in some respects.

Can you recommend some other shows like Mad Men? If so, add them to this list, and help out your fellow Mad Men fans. Vote up your top choices, too.
